We continually consider the interests of our stakeholders when making decisions and this is reflected in a business culture that is focused on making a positive difference to investors, employees, customers, suppliers and the local community in which we operate.
It is also reviewing the possibility of introducing an employee volunteering programme, which will look to boost local and regional community groups, schools and social enterprises.
Responsible business is one of the founding principles of the Advanced Chemical Etching approach and the management team recognises that its current and future success depends on positive relationships with its staff and strong partnerships with its supply chain.

Health & Safety
Health and Safety is a major priority for ACE and the company is committed to creating an environment that is safe, minimises risks and complies with all legislation.
It has appointed a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to continually review policies and working practices so that all employees have the necessary resources, equipment and training to carry out their daily tasks. There is also an emphasis on full and effective two-way consultation with employees and effective control of contractor and supplier activities.
In short, ACE has adopted five key principles that focus on:

- Constant measurement
- Reviewing performance and making improvements
The value added nature of ACE’s business means that its staff are its most valuable asset and this is reflected in a positive culture that empowers the workforce to positively contribute to the success of the business.
All employees are kept regularly informed of progress against the company’s strategic plan through regular briefings and have access to continued professional development opportunities. These include accredited on-the-job training, Apprenticeships, specialist lean development and knowledge transfer partnerships with a host of local Universities. All members of staff are encouraged to promote UK manufacturing and partake in primary, secondary and further education visits.
