ACE now operates rapid COVID-19 testing on employees to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
The safety of our customers and colleagues remains our highest priority and we take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facility. In response to Coronavirus, we have taken a number of additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene standards even more rigorous.
We have now implemented new policies to allow visitors to ACE these are shown in ACE document D314, potential visitors must request this document before arrival at ACE and supply all necessary information.
Many of our standard work practices have been amended to reduce risks as current situations change. We are complying with all UK government requirements and recommendation’s regarding hygiene, including training employees in new standard work procedures, changes to procedures of receiving deliveries ensuring employees are at least 2M distance from other employees, temperature checks for all employees and visitors, limiting the numbers of people allowed in rooms/spaces as well as adding more hand sanitisation stations across all units of the business.
All employees have been briefed on the symptoms of the virus and the steps to be taken should they or anybody else in their household show any signs of the virus.
Regular updates are being held with all employees as situations may change and we are working with all employees in changes of working hours if required to suit their personal needs.
We are pleased to report that as a result of strategic purchasing directive, which we have implemented over the past 12 months, we have yet to experience any disruption to our customer supply as a result of coronavirus.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will continue to evolve our plans as the situation develops.
Most importantly, we wish all our customers, suppliers, colleagues and their families well. We are all in this together and we will get through it together.
Best wishes
Ian Whateley
