ACE is Measuring Their Success

Our Quality Team insists that the need behind the investment is as a result of increased demand by our customers with technically challenging products, for ACE to verify tight tolerances achieved in X, Y and Z measurements, as well as process capability index (Cpk), and SPC measurement.

With the acquisition of these latest machines it will allow programming of CMM machines to be done at the CAD stage, thus eliminating lengthy programming time at the final inspection stage. The machines will reduce the time of dimensional inspection compared to conventional measuring equipment with the ability to measure multiple components simultaneously.

These two machines are an impressive edition to our existing metrology laboratory; and will give us a distinct advantage of dramatically reducing component measurement time.

Alongside the investment in the measuring equipment, we have also recruited further members of staff into our extensive Inspection Team.
