ACE Wins Business Innovation of the Year Award 2013

Advanced Chemical Etching (ACE) was nominated and shortlisted for the University of Wolverhampton’s Business Achievement Awards 2013. ACE went on to win the award for `Business Innovation of the Year’. The special awards dinner took place on the 12th June 2013 at the Hayward Suite, Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton. The awards were held as part of the University’s celebrations in its 21st year since achieving University status. The event showcased the University’s successful collaborations with business.
The award recognizes the enterprise which has most successfully employed innovation to enhance its performance and or competitiveness.
The award seen in the photo above was a collaboration between two students Richard Roberts and Elliot Walker who worked on the design and production of the award, utilising the University’s hot shop facilities. The award design is based on the concept of a flame.
Proud moment for ACE, the winning of the award amplifies the success of their collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton.
