Telford manufacturing firm wins new business at Engineering Trade Show

Telford-based Advanced Chemical Etching Ltd (ACE) successfully exhibited recently at Advanced Engineering UK 2015, at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, in cooperation with Telford & Wrekin Council. The local metal component manufacturer showcased its services and cutting-edge technology at the UK’s largest annual engineering exhibition, which attracted over 13,000 trade visitors to view the over 750 exhibitors.

The Chairman of Advanced Chemical Etching, Alan Rollason, commented:

“It was good to work with Telford & Wrekin Council, at Advanced Engineering 2015, which was a very powerful show, with high numbers of the right buyers attending.ACE received a considerable number of quality leads at the exhibition, and we look forward to converting these into multiple firm contracts in the near future.ACE would like to compliment the staff of Telford & Wrekin Council, who were very proactive and professional in their support during this event.”

ACE is the UK’s largest independent etching company, developing a number of manufacturing processes for national and international customers, from its state-of-the-art facility, in Telford. The firm manufactures bespoke 2- and 3-D etched metal components for industry sectors including aerospace, automotive, electronics, telecommunications, engineering, medical and renewable energy.

Councillor Shaun Davies, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for Business added:-“Telford & Wrekin Council is pleased to have shared a stand with Advanced Chemical Etching at the prestigious Advanced Engineering 2015. And we are doubly pleased that such a progressive company has found the show so successful, with many solid enquiries, which should convert into new, long-term customers.This is yet another example of an enterprising Telford firm leading the way in engineering”.

The region’s presence at Advanced Engineering 2015 was co-ordinated by Drive West Midlands, of which Telford & Wrekin Council is an active partner.This initiative was set up to support companies throughout the supply chain in the west midlands; and to encourage overseas investors looking to locate in the region. It was launched in June by inward investment agency, Marketing Birmingham and UK Trade & Investment’s Automotive Investment Organisation.
